WEEE Regulations (disposal of old electrical or electronic waste)
It is very important that old appliances are disposed of responsibly. Rochester Court Interiors provides an ‘In store take back’ facility which allows customers to bring their old appliance to our showroom for proper disposal, when they buy a new replacement product from us, either in store or on-line. This is on a like for like basis and we have the right to refuse any item which we do not feel conforms to this, or make a charge for taking back the item.
For customers that are unable to take advantage of this facility, we urge them to contact their local council to find their nearest local civic amenity site (tip) which accepts WEEE. Alternatively, with bulky items, the local council should have a Bulky Items collection service. Please contact your local council for advice. If an item is still usable, then try to find a locally active re-use scheme.
Local sites to us that accept WEEE are Ambley Road, off Hoath’s way, Gillingham, and Shawstead Road, Capstone, Chatham, or Sundridge Hill, Cuxton.
When Rochester Court Interiors installs a kitchen, we are able to accept back all old electrical waste except fridges.
Privacy Policy
Your security and privacy is important to us. Rochester Court Interiors will not share your data with any other third party. Any data you provide to us will be used for that transaction only, and any information stored will be for our own book-keeping requirements.
